eLearning Systems

eLearning SampleJMarc can create and deliver online and CD-ROM based eLearning systems using Macromedia Flash. Our eLearning systems can demonstrate product features, provide step-by-step learning animation sequences, and provide voiceover narration. In addition, we can provide customized Flash navigation and branding.

eLearning systems are often used to provide training to users who may be remote or for training new employees at very low cost.  In addition, eLearning systems provide information that is self-paced and repeatable.

Here is a sample of a training segment for the University of Florida’s ARMProgram that was used to train remote users on how to use the custom data entry system (this is one module of a multi-module training series).  Add/Edit Institution

Gaming for Marketing and Education

Computer Gaming has exploded in influence and scope in recent years with some rather startling numbers such as 69% of American heads of household are now playing computer games1. There are 76.2 million people in America who play video games2 and 205 million internet users3 overall!  Given these numbers, video gaming is a viable method of targeting internet marketing efforts.

Computer gaming offers pharmaceutical companies a unique way of gaining attention and tapping into the wide popularity of computer gaming.  Video games offer significant value to online marketing campaigns as well as as a booth draw at conferences.  Some progressive-thinking companies have used computer gaming to teach children about cancer treatment - with positive outcomes indicating children who played the video game were more apt to follow their treatment plan4

Rich Andrews, CTO of JMarc, was a co-author in the Prima Age of Kings strategy guide and started www.mrfixitonline.com (“MFO”) – an extremely popular online resource for hardcore gamers that draws three million page views a month. MFO has run dozens of online tournaments using custom event and tournament code with sponsorship from gaming companies and private investors. Rich has participated in numerous gaming development cycles for developers such as Microsoft, Stainless Steel Studios, Blizzard, Lucas Arts and others to help play balance and train staff on how to test gameplay.

Bringing our gaming experience to the pharmaceutical industry, JMarc can create, design, develop and deliver online gaming solutions to meet marketing and educational objectives of pharmaceutical companies.   We can also provide custom artwork, sound, gameplay testing, and more.  Projects can include interactive top 10 screens, specific campaign tie-ins, and much more.  Deliver your marketing message in a non-threatening way and re-enforce that message by using gameplay that encourages people to replay your game.
